Triple facepalm

The 'most powerful country in the world' is now ruled by йобнуті mega-idiots who 'accidentally cancel' Ebola research, don't understand the difference between transGENDERS and transGENIC mice, and support the fight against vaccines.

Instead of preparing presentation for the conference, this evening I'm making, say, various items for the army use, and re-watching Babylon 5.

Same country that brought this wonderful story to life right now is betraying my country, for some reasons that look incredibly stupid to me. I know that those are not the same people, and there are many who are deeply ashamed about what's going on, but I feel enormous rage and I can't calm down.

What surprised me in Western Europe when I started working there, is how petty were the problems local people worry so much about in comparison with what's going on in Eastern Europe (and much, much worse in countries to the East and South), yet the people stuck to them.

Another of my old friends with whom we were listening to Irish Punk and watching Medieval Knight Reconstruction matches subscribed for the army yesterday.

One close friend is wounded, two of my friends lost their brothers who died at the frontline.

Yet in the country that literally sits on the piles of old and new weapons people fight each other over n+ genders, same-sex marriages and what bathroom who should use, and propose to 'discuss a revolution' while they could just help us defeating the enemy. Who's now their country's new 'friend'.

Hello, people are dying out there. Women are being raped to death. Little girls in Muslim families of 6+ children are forbidden to take education unless it's a wet nurse or a teacher for children.

We thought it will never come to us, but it did. The alternative was to live for 200 USD a month, or maybe some more if you work 12h 7 days a week. I was working in a research institute and haven't been eating meat for several years not because I was a vegetarian, but because I could not afford it - and most of my friends were in the same situation. I left, they had no place to run and are fighting instead.

They tell us 'why are you keep coming, make decent life for you at home, fight the corrupted governments'. And when we do fight them, they throw us to those governments for slaughter.

What is it I'm not understanding? Or I'm understanding everything right and so-called first world does this to get a constant supply of slaves?
