Nov. 30th, 2025 10:44 pmSame news half a year later: Trump is NOT interested in helping Ukraine. He WON'T give us any military help - on the contrary, he'll be pressing our country to capitulate and surrender to Russia.
Why? Because MAGA. The vision of 'greatness' of him and his supporters is ruined and miserable Europe.
Not only Ukraine, but whole Europe, at least all democratic European countries.
Ukraine stands between Russia and Central and Western Europe, and if it loses the war - Russia will continue to EU.
Then EU will be in ruins, and the USA will be 'great' the same way they were after WWII.
Everyone will be bringing them money as before. That's what American money bags want. Ethics, law, justice are irrelevant here.
THEY WANT MONEY, and Russia wants more land.
Current US government and establishment and Russian empire are BOTH pathological bloody maniacs. Each in their own way.

Collective free will is different from individual free will though -- it builds up from the actions (or inactions) of people en masse. The future is made of choices, the way a river is made of raindrops.
I'm not in favor of climate change, but that doesn't exempt me from its impacts. All I can do is make my yard a refugium. I don't know if it will save any species, but I know that it is the kind of thing that can make a difference. That's better than nothing.

Date: 2025-12-02 01:03 am (UTC)Same way, I'm not going to serve in army in spite of many of my close friends are there. It's also sort of a compromise. But I'm trying to do small things for them and for the army - because small is better than nothing.
So, one way or another, we should continue to take small steps forward if we can't take big leaps. But every day.
I think many people simply cannot stop constantly living in present, that's why they can't see future, neither they can learn from the past. For someone, who can see how much progress we, human race, made through our history, believing in small steps forward is not so difficult
